Puffin Express and Carrick-A-Rede Sea Safari

Puffin Express and Carrick-A-Rede Sea Safari departing from Ballycastle Marina. Here you will get the opportunity to travel across the Rathlin sound to the SW corner of the island. Hopefully see Seals then travel around Bull Point to the West Light house to find Puffins, Gannets, Gullimots, Fulmars and Razorbills, whilst enjoying the amazing views and keep a look out for Dolphins and Basking Sharks. Then speed across to Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge to enjoy the views and next stop Kenbane Castle before returning to Ballycastle. . 

Causeway Ramblings

Join Causeway Ramblings in Bushmills for an exhilarating walk along the paths around the Causeway Cliffs and hear stories of the landscape, the buildings and the people of the Causeway Coast.

Join local Tour Guide Antony on a dramatic walking tour of the Causeway Cliffs. Antony will guide you on a stunning 2.2 mile walk by the Giant’s Causeway, telling tales of castles and caves, treasure and treachery, heroes and hermits and revealing a few secrets of his clan as he follows in the footsteps of his ancestors. After this 2.2 mile walk, the tour will then include a visit to the legendary stones of the Giant’s Causeway with stories of the myths and legends that shaped this iconic landscape. Embark on this wonderful walk every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in June. 

Bushmills Salmon & Whiskey Festival

The Salmon & Whiskey festival, which celebrates the local heritage and fine produce in the area, returns on Friday 7th with the Bushmills Banquet, then on Saturday 8th June and Sunday 9th June. Two days of fantastic entertainment and activities will spread across Bushmills Main Street, Milliennium Park, Bushmills Distillery and The Salmon Fisheries.

Bushmills Banquet is back by popular demand. A very special gourmet evening celebrating Bushmills Irish Whiskey and festival themed dishes from local participating restaurants and artisan food producers, showcasing the very best of Bushmills hospitality.

Midsummer Music at Mussenden Temple

The midsummer musical event held in the iconic venue of the Mussenden Temple, part of the Downhill Demense, is always a popular one. This year the Ulster Orchestra is returning with an ensemble which will play a variety of light and popular music items. There will be 3 concerts – Friday & Saturday evenings (19:30) and Sunday afternoon (15:00). Booking is essential…amazing views and music, what more could we want eh?
