Halloween is just a few weeks away and team Arbutus couldn't be more excited for our fun packed Spooky Sunday at Arbutus at The Crannagh. From our belly filler 4 course Carvery, Kids Disco and Fancy Dress Competition, it is sure to be a spooktacular day. We advise booking early to ensure your little witches and goblins are not disappointed.

If you are hosting your own Halloween party here are a few DIY decor tips/ideas that may come in handy.

Toil Banner

Send your kids out to the backyard to find the perfect branch to use for this quick Halloween project. From there, just add twine and the designed sign, and this piece is ready to go. This is one to hang at the door when your guests will be trick or treating. Set that first impression of a scary home.

DIY Bat Branch Centerpiece

Again, get the kids in the garden and find all the little twigs, simply spray paint these back and cut out bat shapes from black card and stick them on. Place in a vase and these can be displayed anywhere in the home or make a spooky table centrepiece.

DIY Halloween Spiderweb Tablecloth

Grab an old black fabric sheet (large enough to fit the table), then simply draw on spider webs of all sizes with gold glitter.

Halloween Candle Lantern

If you have lanterns on display at your home all year round, now is the time to add plastic spider webs and spiders. These are super spooky especially when the light is turned off and the shadow of the spiders can be seen clearly.

Effortlessly Eerie Living Room

This decorating trick is so easy, yet so eerie. Use sheet-draped chairs to give your room the look of ruin. Then, string a cobweb across a mirror and add a plastic spider. Simple but effective.

There we have it, all the spooky ideas you need for your Halloween party. Enjoy, and we hope to see your at our Spooky Sunday at The Crannagh.
